Our ClubOur club was established in 1954 by a small band of adventurous divers with a common aim - just to dive! It was then known as the Hull Frogmans Club. Eventually it became Branch 14 of the British Sub-Aqua Club. We now have around 120 members including two of the founders; one of whom, in his 80's, is still diving. Heinke Trophy
The prestigious Heinke Trophy was won by our club in 1997. It is awarded annually to the BSAC branch judged to have done the most to further the interests of its members and of the BSAC. DivingDuring the summer months, diving is usually in the North Sea, whether it be on any of the dozens of life-encrusted wrecks, or scenic dives around the East Yorkshire coast-line. Throughout the year, trips are also organized to places such as Oban, St. Abbs, Scapa Flow and the Red Sea. |
